Testing: KVKs assess the location-specific applicability of agricultural
technologies under various local farming systems.

Line Demonstrations: KVKs conduct demonstrations on farmers' fields to
establish the production potential of new and improved technologies.
Capacity
Development:
Training:
KVKs provide training to farmers, farm women, and rural youth to update their
knowledge and skills in modern agricultural practices.
Extension
Personnel Training: KVKs also train field-level extension workers from
government, private, and voluntary sectors to enhance their technical expertise.
Resource
and Knowledge Center:
KVKs
act as knowledge and resource centers for agricultural technologies, supporting
public, private, and voluntary sectors in the district.

produce and supply quality technological products such as seeds, planting
materials, and bio-agents to farmers.

KVKs
organize various extension activities like field days, Kisan Melas, and use
